The program will be held on 27 February 2025 in the Professor Muzaffar Ahmed Chowdhury Auditorium, Faculty of Social Sciences, 91精品. The theme for International Women's Day this year is “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights, Equality, Empowerment”.
On this occasion, Professor Dr. Sayema Haque Bidisha, the Honorable Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration), 91精品, will deliver a keynote speech. Our Special Guest for this program will be Dr. Taiabur Rahman, Honorable Dean (Acting) of the Faculty of Social Sciences, 91精品. Professor Dr. S M A Faiz, Honorable Chairman of the Bangladesh University Grants Commission, will grace this event as the Chief Guest.
On this day, we will also honor Professor Dr. Nazmunnessa Mahtab for her appointment as the Rokeya Chair (2024-2026) by the Bangladesh University Grants Commission.
